Western Extrusion Announces Expansion to Include New 5100 Ton 14-Inch Press
Western Extrusions has expanded our aluminum extrusion capability to include a new 14-inch press. The new 5100 ton press will be capable of producing profiles up to 20” wide and 25 pounds per foot. The new press will be installed beside our existing 5000 Ton 14” press, and will expand our capacity and flexibility across all markets including building and construction, transportation, electrical, solar, consumer durables, machinery and equipment and distribution products.
“This new press will provide us with the additional capacity and flexibility necessary to provide our customers with the high level of quality and service that they need in order to thrive in this competitive market. We also want to create redundancy in our large presses’ capabilities in order to further support our customers,” said Western Extrusions President, Patrick McEvoy, Jr. “This new press is not only an investment in Western’s future, it is an investment in our customers’ future as well.”
Founded in 1979, Western Extrusions has grown from a 49,000 square feet facility with one 7” press to 700,000 square feet of manufacturing space that includes five presses, a horizontal paint line, an anodizing line and large fabrication facility with CNC machining capabilities up to 55’.
At Western Extrusions, we have a long history of continued reinvestment in order to provide our customers the products they need when they need them. Through research in aluminum extrusions manufacturing, we continue to add the latest equipment from industry leaders to its on-site operations.

Today, Western Extrusions remains among the most stable, independent extrusion company in the country,” noted Patrick Lenaburg, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We want our customers to know that as Western Extrusions continues to expand our capabilities, it is our dedication to quality and customer service that remains number one priority.”
