Industrial Maintenance Technicians

Western Extrusions, the alternative aluminum extruder in America is looking for industrial maintenance technicians for all shifts. The desired candidates will thrive in an environment with a high degree of independence, but will interact efficiently will all employees of Western Extrusions in order to provide professional support within the maintenance department. The desired candidate will have greater than 2 years relevant maintenance experience in an industrial setting. Electrical experience should be 480 volt; 3 phase along with mechanical experience all in an industrial facility. PLC control systems trouble shooting is a must. Other essential duties include:

  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
  • Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
